Robyn Marfurt

Chef/Owner

Chef Robyn Marfurt has cooked everything from diner food to fine dining. In the course of her 30-year career in hospitality, she found she was happiest making tacos or smoking big pieces of meat. Fortuitously, she met Chef Julio about 13-years ago. After sweating in various kitchens together they attempted to go their separate ways. She is overjoyed to be reunited with Chef Julio to pursue her two favorite pursuits.

Julio Job Lopez

Chef/Owner

A U.S. Navy veteran with a Master’s degree from DePaul University, Julio brings a focus on craft, discipline, and community to Big & Tall BBQ and Tacos. Driven by a lifelong passion for cooking, crazy tacos, and low-and-slow meats, he traded the production room for the pit to focus on what matters most: feeding people biggo pieces of meat and tacos. He is absolutely ballin’ at the opportunity to work with his bestie Chef Robyn again.
